A man with a prior conviction for attempted murder has been charged with the killing of a co-worker in Bledsoe County.

Authorities said Casey Lee Anderson, 32, was building a new home on Humble Cemetery Road with the victim.

Anderson, who has an extensive criminal record in Hamilton County, pleaded guilty in the attempted murder in 2002.

Rocky Gribble said he hired the two men recently to help him finish the house.

A neighbor said the pair had been arguing throughout the day on Monday.
The shooting was on Tuesday.

Anderson, who is being held without bond, is due in court on Friday morning.
