Chattanooga Opens Five-Game Set With Montgomery Thursday Night

JACKSON, TENN. --- The Lookouts lost their second consecutive game to the Generals in Wednesday's matinee series finale, 5-3. Garrett Gould (0-4) took the loss for Chattanooga.

Jackson jumped out to an early lead again on Wednesday as Dan Paolini homered in the first inning down the left field line to score Jabari Blash and Kevin Rivers.

Blash added an RBI single in the second to score Jack Marder and push the Generals' lead to 4-0

Chattanooga responded with a three-run sixth inning to cut it's deficit to 4-3. After Ryan Adams and Daniel Mayora each singled, Brian Cavazos-Galvez double scoring Adams with the Lookouts' first run. Scott Schebler's ground out to second scored Mayora while Cavazos-Galvez took third, then scored on Erisbel Arruebarrena's ground out.

The Generals added an insurance run in the seventh.

The Lookouts return to AT&T Field Thursday night to open a series with the Birmingham Barons (White Sox). Game time is 7:15 p.m.
