Edible Jazz With Michael W. Twitty Is Thursday

Jazzanooga, Chattanooga’s Jazz Festival, will present Edible Jazz a cooking demonstration and lecture by culinary historian Michael W. Twitty on Thursday evening at Dish T’ Pass Cooking School and Catering Company. 

Nationally renowned food historian and culinary blogger, Mr. Twitty, will host a community lecture and cooking demonstration on Edible Jazz and the importance of tradition, nature, and availability of ingredients in African American and southern cuisine and culture.  

Mr. Twitty has been a guest judge on the TV show Top Chef, and was most recently featured on Dr. Henry Louis Gates, Jr. PBS show, The African Americans, many Rivers to Cross. 

Attendees will receive samples from Mr. Twitty’s cooking demonstration.
