Stoe, Ronald "Smokie"

Ronald or "Smokie" Stoe, as friends and family called him, died on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014.

Smokie was a dedicated husband, loving grandfather, adoring great-grandfather and longtime Red Food and Bi-Lo employee. He cherished his family and friends, always had a smile on his face, and never missed an opportunity to laugh. His kindness toward others was unmatched and he will be greatly missed.

Smokie was publicly thanked and recognized for his 57 years of service to Red Food / Bi-Lo Corporation as one of the longest running employees.

Smokie was preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia and son, Stephen.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Carolyn Stoe, son, Tony Feagans, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A remembrance service will be held at the First Church of the Nazerene at 901 McFarlane Ave. in Rossville, on Saturday, April 26, from 2–4 p.m. All who knew Smokie are welcome.
