Diane Cooper, of Chattanooga, died on Saturday, April 19, 2014

Mrs. Cooper was born May 8, 1931 in Trenton, Ga. She was a loving homemaker and enjoyed crafts, collecting angels, cooking, and sewing. She was a very outgoing person who had many friends.

She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Leonard Cooper; children, David Cooper of Rossville, Laura Bowen (Jody) of Langston Al., sisters, Eva Gass of Trenton, Ga., Doris Mercer of Fairview, W.V., Glenda Williams of Alabama, Christine Lee of Trenton, Ga., Sue Garner of  Henagar, Al., six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 23, at 2 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel. Burial will follow in the Chattanooga Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the service time at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
