JACKSON, TENN. (APRIL 19, 2014) - The Generals (9-7) had opened each of their first three series' with a win, but the Chattanooga Lookouts (6-10) spoiled that streak Saturday, with a 3-2 win over Jackson. The Generals lost despite out-hitting Chattanooga 6-5.
Chattanooga took a 3-1 lead in the second inning and stayed ahead throughout the remainder of the contest. Jeremy Hazelbaker tripled to score Scott Schebler and Erisbel Arrubarrena with one out.
Chris O'Brien added a double on the following at-bat to score Hazelbaker.
Generals' starter Moises Hernandez (0-1) went 4.0 innings and allowed three hits and three runs in a losing effort.
Chatanooga starter Carlos Frias (2-1) earned the victory after allowing four hits and a run in a season-long seven full innings of work.
