Bowling Green Tops Rail Runners, 122-109

Justin Taylor scored 20 points and DeAntra Scott added 19 points and six rebounds as the Bowling Green Hornets defeated visiting Chattanooga Rail Runners, 122-109, Friday night in a Central Basketball Association game.

Jonathan Adams led the Rail Runners with 21 points, 15 rebounds and six assists, while Rob Murphy and Quincy Scates scored 17 points each.

E'Jay Ward had eight assists and Alex Dean pulled down eight rebounds for the Chattanooga team.

The Rail Runners are 5-2 and play at Middle Tennessee (5-2) Sat April 26 and at home April 27 against the Fort Wayne (Ind.) Flight.

The Middle Tenn. game (at Fisk Univ. in Nashville) is for first place and a possible No.1 seed in the post season tournament. The teams are 1-1 this season.  

Bowling Green evened its record at 4-4.
