Barbara Louise Stone, 70, of Summerville, GA, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at her residence.
Mrs. Stone was born in New York City on October 4, 1943, daughter of the late James Braden and Dorothy Sommerlot Braden. She was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was retired from the Roper Corporation where she was an inspector.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stone was preceded in death by her husband, Bethel Stone.
Mrs. Stone is survived by her children, Karl Gore of Summerville, James Gore of Guild, TN and Rhonda Dennis of Summerville; and a grandson, William Tyler Dennis of Birmingham.
At the request of Mrs. Stone, she will be cremated and the family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
