Sunny Marr Reich, 72, of Chattanooga, died on Tuesday, April 8, 2014.
She was born on Feb. 3, 1942, to the late Clifford Thurman Marr and to Nancy McElhaney Marr. She graduated from Central High School in 1960 and at the age of 30, she started college. In 1975, she graduated from UTC and in 1986, she received her master’s degree. Sunny began her teaching career with the city of Chattanooga and then moved to Catoosa County school system.
Survivors include her sister, Kay Marr of Chattanooga; and sons, Phil Reich of Chattanooga and Ken Reich, of Savannah, Ga..
Sunny donated her body to UT of Knoxville for forensic research studies.
A celebration of life service will be from 2-5 p.m. on Friday, April 18, at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace, 877-3524.
