Raymond F. Lusk, 86, formerly of Chattanooga, died on Monday, April 14, 2014 in Illinois.
He was born in Chattanooga to Pleasant and Carrie Lusk. Most of the years of his life were spent in the Chicago area where he was employed as a meat cutter for Dominick’s Food Store for over 25 years. After his retirement on August 29, 1986, he moved to Brooksville, Fl., with his wife. After her death, the remainder of his years were spent in Arlington Heights, Il., near his daughters. He enjoyed fishing in his earlier years and found great pleasure working word-search puzzles and spending time with his friends at Cedar Village. He was an avid Cubs fan. He loved spending time with his children, eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Marie Morrison Lusk.
Survivors include his children, Pattie Jane Marx, Eddie Ray Joleen) Lusk, Betty Faye Lusk (Randy) Braun and Debbie Gale Lusk (Howard) Wodrich; grandchildren, Donovan Tansley, Pamela Ramert, Michelle Tansley, Travis Lusk, Jennifer Braun, Dana Braun (Christopher) Knight, Jason Braun and Trevor Raymond (Stacey) Bell ; great-grandchildren, Jared Tansley, Morgan Ramert, Logan Ramert, Viktor Hammond, Arlo Lusk, Parker Knight, Peyton Knight, Olivia Christine Bell, Tyler Michael Bell and Ava Marie Bell.
Funeral services are Saturday, April 19, at 1 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace. Interment will follow in Red Hill Cemetery in Whitwell.
Visitation is from 3-8 p.m. on Friday, April 18, and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace, 877-3524.
