NLRB Adminstrative Law Judge To Hold Hearing In Chattanooga On VW Case

  • Friday, March 21, 2014

An administrative law judge from the National Labor Relations Board will be holding a hearing in Chattanooga on an appeal by the United Auto Workers of a vote in which employees of the local Volkswagen plant voted narrowly not to have UAW representation.

The hearing will be April 21.

Officials said the time and location have not yet been set.

Volkswagen has sided with the UAW on the issue.

Senator Bob Corker, former County Mayor Claude Ramsey and several members of the local legislative delegation were among those who were vocal against UAW getting into the plant.
