James Thomas Brown, 70, of Dayton, died on December 24, 2014.
James was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his father and mother, Ollie and Mary Lou Brown; brother,Joe Frank Brown; sister, Reva Harris.
Survivors include seven children, Shelia Shoemake, Bryan Brown, Dana Leroy, all of Georgia; James Edward Brown, Nashville; Quenton Brown, Jesse Brown, both of Kingston, Tn.; Curtis Brown, Dayton; four brothers, Henry Brown, Albert Brown, Paul Brown, Pete Brown, all of Pikeville; four sisters, Kathern Pelfrey, Martha (David) Clark, both of Dayton; Edna (Jeff) Rainey, Grace Seals, both of Pikeville; several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Services will be on Sunday, Dec. 28, at 2 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Worthington Cemetery.
