Burglar Strikes Home Of County Paramedic; Takes Son's Presents

A burglar struck at the home of a county paramedic on Tuesday morning, taking his son's Christmas presents among many other items.

Paramedic Michael Chaigne discovered that his home had been burglarized while he was at work.

Police said, "The burglar(s) stole everything he owns, including his 11-year-old son’s belongings and Christmas gifts."

An account has been set up at local SunTrust banks where anyone can help the family out. Just call or visit an area SunTrust Bank and ask to donate to the 'Paramedic Michael Fund.'

Tonya Sadler said, "Let us pull together and help one of our heroes."
