Free Meter Parking On Christmas Day And New Year's Day

The Chattanooga Parking Authority has announced that downtown parking meters will not be enforced, and need not be paid, on Christmas Day, Thursday and on New Year’s Day, Thursday, Jan. 1.  Additionally Bus Passes will not be available at the Chattanooga Parking Authority office during these times.

Parking in an unlawful area - bus or loading zones, yellow cub, no parking zones, handicap spaces, Fortwood Residential District, etc. - is enforceable 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
