Chattanooga Presents announces that Ice on the Landing, presented by Volkswagen Chattanooga, will operate under a revised schedule for the holidays, and feature a food drive on Wednesday, Christmas Eve, for the Community Kitchen as this week’s “Skate for Charity.”

Between 12-4 on Wednesday, participants may bring a non-perishable food item for the Community Kitchen and receive $2 off one ice rink admission (to be used that day).

Ice on the Landing will be open on Christmas Eve from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Operating hours on Christmas Day are 4-11 p.m.

On New Year’s Eve, Ice on the Landing will be offering reserved tickets from 11 p.m.-1 a.m. For a $20 adult ticket or a $15 children’s ticket, skaters from 11 p.m.-1 a.m. will receive lighted 2015 eyeglasses, and a sparkling cider toast and cupcake at midnight. Only 125 tickets will be sold for this timeframe, and reserved tickets are currently available on site at Ice on the Landing.

Ice on the Landing, presented by Volkswagen Chattanooga, operates under the local management of Chattanooga Presents and is made possible through sponsorships from Volkswagen Chattanooga, EPB Fiber Optics, Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union, Mark Hite with Keller Williams Realty, the Riverfront Business & Residents Partnership, Children’s Hospital at Erlanger and Coyote Logistics.

Ice on the Landing is also available for birthday parties and private rental, as the schedule permits.
