Marilyn Calhoun
Marilyn Lorene Calhoun, 76, died at a local hospital on December 13, 2014.
She was a graduate of Howard High School. She retired from housekeeping at Siskin Hospital.
She was a faithful member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Her hobbies included cooking, gardening and spending time with her grandchild.
Survivors include her loving husband, Colman Jr. Calhoun of Chattanooga; sons, Ronald, Donald and Coleman “Biddy Baby” Calhoun III; step-daughter, Aretha Cummings; grandchildren, LaDauna Calhoun, William “Boo” Graham, Sierra Calhoun and Ronnell Calhoun; great-grandchildren, Tarijah Phelps, Chester “Trouble” Phelps, Jartavius Phelps and William “Baby Boo” Graham, Jr.; father, Lorenzo Heard; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 24, at Macedonia Baptist Church with Reverend James Calhoun officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Gardens. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service at the church.
