Southside Casual Classics will present a Little Advent Music with Harv Wileman and Lucía Elena Sanchez on Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the Camp House's new location, 149 E. ML King Blvd.
Tenor Harv Wileman and soprano Lucía Elena Sanchez team up with accompanist John Wigal to bring music for the season by Handel, Massenet, Puccini and Yon. This inaugural concert at the Camp House's new location (in the Volunteer Building on Georgia Avenue) will also feature the premiere of a new arrangement of Holst's "In the Bleak Mid-Winter" by local composer Michael Payne, the perennial "O Holy Night," and a cappella music from the shape-note tradition.
