Judy Caylor Poteet, 65, of Dalton, GA, passed away Monday, December 15, 2014 at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Gordon Poteet; parents, Douglas and Avanell Caylor; sister, Glenda Ellis; and brother, Ronnie Caylor.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jerry & Sabrina Smith of Dalton and Eric Poteet of Chatsworth; brothers and sisters-in-law, Allan & Mary Caylor and Michael & Cynthia Darlene Caylor, all of Dalton; three grandchildren, Levi Smith, Ann Marie Smith and Kayla Poteet; and nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, December 18, at 11 a.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home, with Rev. Ronald Guffey and Rev. Robert Beavers officiating. Burial will be in United Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, Decembe 17 from 5-9 p.m.
