LBMC, PC announced that LBMC Young Professional Emily Job will serve as chair for the National Leading Edge Alliance Young Professionals.

The Leading Edge Alliance is the second largest international association of independently-owned accounting and consulting firms. LEA Global consists of approximately 460 offices in more than 100 countries around the world. LBMC is a founding member of the association. Membership in LEA Global gives LBMC access to expertise in firms across the U.S and around the world.

“We are honored to have Emily represent our organization on a national level,"  said Dennis Blanton, managing partner of LBMC Chattanooga. "Her enthusiasm and creativity will be a great asset to LEA.”

LBMC’s award-winning Young Professional program address the needs of professionals in all its offices who are within their first seven years of their careers. The program helps nurture leadership skills, promotes teamwork, grows community networks, and creates a foundation for client development and lead generation. It has a formal leadership structure with terms, and all members are surveyed to verify where young professionals want support and assistance. Areas addressed this year included ways to become board members of nonprofit organizations, volunteer service opportunities, team building activities and leadership opportunities.
