Martha Lindsey Mathews Harness, 73 of Clinton, Tennessee, died on Friday, November 28, 2014.
She was born in Lake City, Tn. Martha was a devoted Christian and her passion in life was caring for children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John “Jack” and Jeanette Mathews and two infant brothers.
Survivors include her children, Jeane (Richard) Harmon; Jennifer (Matt) Ayers and Jonathan Harness; grandchildren, John Marshall Harmon, Andre and Nicole Harmon, Angelyn and Jackson Ayers; great-grandchildren, Kinsleigh Harmon and Keegan Bullock; god-children, Valerie Duke Clingman, Maleah Eldridge and Donavon Shelton; special cousins, Gerald and Annette Norman.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 30, at Hatmakers Funeral Home in Lake City, Tn. The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. at the funeral home in Lake City, Tn.
