Evelyn H. Nelson, 90, of Dalton, GA, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was the daughter of the late William and Tennie Bishop Hitt; and was also preceded in death by her husband, James Nelson. Evelyn;
She was of the Baptist Faith.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Jerry and Aileen Stephenson of Dalton, Shirley Stephenson of Dalton and Bobby and Neba Stephenson of Crandall; brothers, Buddy Hitt of Calhoun and Jack Hitt of Colorado; sister, Judy Hitt of California; ten grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 30 in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary McPherson officiating. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Saturday, November 29 from 5-8 p.m.
