Myrtle Rebecca Quarles Barnett, 94, of Jasper, TN, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2014.
Myrtle was housewife and mother and a member of the Owens United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Barnett was preceded in death by her husband, Morgan “Rube” Barnett; parents, Bill and Pearl Stansberry Quarles; brothers, Weezel, Andy and Bill Quarles; and sisters, Eva McGlohon and Annie Pearl Quarles.
She is survived by her son, Ronald (Sherry) Barnett of Jasper; daughter, Donna Kilgore of Kimball; grandchildren, Rebecca (David) McKinney, of Pikeville and Don Kilgore, of Kimball; and great-grandchildren, Calob Kilgore, of Chattanooga, Seth and Molly McKinney, of Pikeville and Donnie Kilgore, of Kimball.
Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. CST, Sunday, November 30, with Bro. Jim Patterson officiating. Interment will follow in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
