Lowery, Mary Ruth (Trion)

Mary Ruth Lowery, 84, of Trion, GA, passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at the Oak View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Lowery was born in Trion, GA on July 15, 1930, to the late Watson Hall Clements and Menta Duncan Clements. She was a member of the Pennville Church of Christ and was a homemaker.

Mrs. Lowrey was preceded in death by her husband, Hancel Lowery; daughter, Debbie Elaine Reynolds; and sisters, Hilda McWhorter and Mildred Hardy.

Mrs. Lowery is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Danny Strickland; son-in-law, Bud Reynolds; grandchildren, Fayla and Barry Vaughn and Tia and Joe Gable; great-grandchildren, Taylen Vaughn, Averie Gable and Madison Gable; special caregivers, Erica Lambert and Nicole Hunt; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside and Interment Services for Mrs. Lowery will be held Wednesday, November 26, at 3 p.m. in the Green Hills Memory Gardens with Minister Robbie Eversole officiating.

The will be no formal visitation and those desiring to attend the graveside services should meet at the Green Hills Memory Gardens by 2:45 p.m. Wednesday, November 25.

Coffman Funeral Home, Petitt Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
