Ronald Headrick
Ronald Jimmy Headrick, Sr., 85, of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, died Wednesday, November 19, 2014.
Mr. Headrick was born April 4, 1929 in Catoosa County, the son of the late Millard and Ora Ross Headrick. Mr. Headrick was of the Baptist faith. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War and was owner and operator of R&L Trucking Co.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie, a granddaughter, Angelia Headrick; two grandsons, Jay and Matthew; a sister, Mary Elizabeth Gray and three brothers, Millard, Mark and Ralph Headrick.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Linville Headrick of the home; one daughter, Beverly Sanders of Dallas, Ga.; two sons, Ronald Jimmy Headrick, Jr. of Ft. Payne, Al., and Ronald Gray Headrick of Haines City, Fl.; two brothers, Bob Headrick and Ira Headrick of Ringgold; and a number of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, Nov. 29, at 11 a.m. at Philadelphia Baptist Church, 1065 Pine Grove Road, Ringgold, with Pastor Rob Borders officiating.
