Eric Michaels said he was at Murphy USA on Highway 153 when a "frantic female" asked to use his cell phone.
He said she could use his Blue Parrot Bluetooth to make the call, but not the phone itself.
A white Lincoln Towncar pulled up with a white male inside, and he argued with the frantic female.
Mr. Michaels said the bizarre incident ended when the man accused him of flirting with the woman and proceeded to hit him with his fist before taking off with the woman.
His prescription glasses were broken in the fray.
