  • Tuesday, November 25, 2014

The City Council voted 6-3 on Tuesday night on second reading to approve tighter stormwater regulations recommended by a technical advisory group.

Councilman Larry Grohn said the regulations are more stringent than required by oversight agencies and are opposed by local development groups.

Councilman Chris Anderson said some of the opponents now support the move after an appeals process was set, along with an evaluation process.

Opposed were council members Grohn, Ken Smith and Chip Henderson.
