Creative Discover Museum is offering Gingerbread Workshops for the whole family.  They will be held at various times in the Museum’s Celebration Room from Nov. 28-Dec. 21 and each workshop will last approximately one hour.

The museum offers these workshops annually, and for many families, Gingerbread Workshops have become a tradition. Children and families decorate a gingerbread house and cookies with icing and candy.   Holiday tunes are played during the workshops to get families in the holiday spirit and parents can relax and enjoy time with their children while museum staff handle the cleanup. Workshops fill quickly, so participants are encouraged to sign up early for this “sweet” class.

“We are excited to host another season of Gingerbread Workshops at Creative Discovery Museum,” said Lynne Mulligan, senior programs mnager at Creative Discovery Museum. “We hope that decorating a gingerbread house at the museum will be a tradition that families look forward to each year.”

Space is limited and registration is required. Fees for the workshop are $25 for members and  $45 for non-members, which includes admission for three people into the museum.

Registration is available online at www.cdmfun.org, or, call Nancy at 648-6045 or Beth at 648-6040.
