A visit from Secret Santa was timely for The Salvation Army since funds have been stretched due to the cold temperatures and opening shelter. 36 one hundred dollar bills were donated on Saturday at the Highway 27 Big Lots Red Kettle.

"We have been busy with cold weather shelter, Angel Tree, Red Kettles, and preparing for Thanksgiving," said Major Al Newsome, Area Commander for The Salvation Army of Greater Chattanooga.
"We are so grateful for this
large donation! It couldn't come at a better time."

Salvation Army is still needing volunteers, and monetary donations. Donations can be made at csarmy.org or by calling 423 756-1023Individuals or groups can sign up for volunteer opportunities are visiting csarmy.org
