The body of a missing 73-year-old Lookout Mountain, Ga., man has been found in his minivan in a swimming pool near Trion, Ga.

The Dade County Sheriff's Department said Freddie Wooten apparently became disoriented after heading toward Fairyland, Ga., to pick up his daughter. The search began after he never arrived.

Mr. Wooten was driving a 2002 Ford Windstar minivan with the license plate number, THM1418. He was last seen wearing a light blue shirt and navy pants.

Family members said he had a leg infection that may have contributed to his disorientation.

Hundreds of volunteers took part in the search.
