Aarica Mincey, 54, died on November 20, 2014, after a short battle with cancer.
Aarica was born Dec. 29 1959, and attended East Ridge High School. Aarica was an inspiration to and paved the way for a younger generation and will be missed by all.
Aarica was preceded in death by her father Harry Mincey, brother; Andy Jones, grandparents; Dan and Ruby Mincey and Oliver and Geneva Tate. Aarica is survived by mother; JoAnn Person, sister and brother-in-law; Debbie and David Eaton, brother; Keith Pearson; nieces and nephew.
The family would like to thank the Chattanooga Tumor Clinic and Hospice of Chattanooga and Care Center for treating Aarica and the family with kindness and respect as well as allowing Aarica to retain her dignity during this time. We would also like to thank the many friends for their support and love.
At Aarica’s request there will be no funeral services; however, the family will observe a private remembrance.
