April M. Speck, 26, of Rocky Face, Ga., died in a multi-car collision on Wednesday.
Two drivers in other vehicles involved in the accident, Everilda E. Valasquez, 49, of Calhoun, Ga., and Celissa D. Woddal, 28, of Dalton, Ga., were transported to Hamilton Medical Center.
The crash happened when Ms. Speck tried to pass cars in a no-passing zone. She tried to get back in the southbound lane on the hill crest, but her car hit the side of Ms. Valasquez's vehicle. Ms. Speck then overcorrected and began spinning, causing her to hit the side of Ms. Woodall's car in the other lane.
