East Tennessee has lost one of its most prominent and impactful citizens with the passing of Harold Coker.  Few people in our region's history have accomplished more in the areas of efficient and responsible government, public service, running a successful business and leading a wonderful family than Harold Coker.

He contributed mightily to our community at every single stage of his very blessed life.
He was an effective County Commissioner, a respected businessman and a follower of Jesus.

My friend Harold Coker will be sorely missed but never forgotten.  My service in government was positively impacted by his advice, counsel and encouragement.  Our hearts go out to Lill, Corky, David, Christy and all their family members.

To God be the Glory for the life and legacy of Harold Coker.
