The Planning Commission on Monday recommended approval for The Shoppes at Gunbarrel Point, planned for Gunbarrel Road and Denton Lane.

The project by developer Brian Sullivan will be anchored by a dental office.

The complex will include 10,500 square feet.

Mr. Sullivan went on foot to talk to neighbors and met with no objections, the commissioners were told.

Allen Jones, who represented the developer, called it "a neighbor-friendly retail development."
