League Of Women Voters Sponsors Forum On Proposed State Amendments

The Chattanooga members-at-large unit of the League of Women Voters of Tennessee will sponsor a forum on proposed amendments to Tennessee’s state constitution that will appear on the November ballot.  The forum will be Monday, Oct. 13, 5:30 p.m. at Hamilton County Business Development Center, 100 Cherokee Blvd.

Speakers will address the LWVTN’S position on the first three amendments with time provided for questions and answers.    

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization encouraging informed and active participation in government. Efforts are currently being made to reactivate the Chattanooga Local League. Membership applications will be available at the forum.

The meeting is free, and open to all interested voters.  Please park in the Renaissance Park lot across the street, not at the BDC.
