Barbara Paige
Barbara Asa Paige, 81, of Fort Oglethorpe, died peacefully on Friday, October 31, 2014.
Barbara was a native of Chattanooga, but had spent the greater part of her life in the north Georgia area and was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church. She was retired from DuPont where she was employed as a lab technician for 40 years, and she was the owner of Barbara’s Originals at the East Ridge Flea Market for many years. Mrs. Paige was also a member of the Pocahontas Chapter 165 Order of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Robert Evans and Inez Young Evans, beloved son, Gerard Clemons Paige, grandfather, Oscar Young, and brother, Thomas Robert Asa.
Survivors include her grandsons, Jeffery Clemons Paige and Robby Paige; sister and brother-in-law, Merrie Lynn and Frank Youngblood; aunt, Lucille Horton; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 1 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Pastor Rob Borders and Pastor Jim Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 4-8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
