Hullender Family And Aimee' Garner Will Perform At Ringgold Depot

Family harmony will be shared by the Hullender Family at Sacred Sounds Fridays on Friday, Nov. 7 at 7:30 p.m. at the Ringgold Depot, Depot Street and U.S. 41. Youth singer Aimee' Garner will perform and there will be a special guest appearance by youth fiddler Emerald Butler.

Randall Franks, “Officer Randy Goode” from TV’s “In the Heat of the Night” will emcee. Ticket donation is $5.

The Hullender Family will feature their unique family harmony blend combining father Jeff with his adult children Justin and Emily.

The group's latest CD is  "Get Up, Get Ready" and according to Jeff, it features some brand new songs and some familiar classics.

 "God has richly blessed our family this past year and we are looking forward to what he has in store for the future," Mr.
Hullender said.

Mr. Hullender learned his music traveling with his singing parents — Jr. and Thelma of Ringgold. He also is a former member of the award-winning Gold City Quartet and performed with the Kingsmen and Teddy Huffam and the Gems. Emily is a Share America scholar.

Ms. Garner, 19, has been singing since the age of five. 

"My passion is singing and I am so thankful for what God has done in my life," she said. "I am currently with A&G Records and I just recorded my second CD. I am beyond blessed to me working with Gerald Crabb and Alisa Asbury."

She said her motto has always been let your light shine for God even in the hard and dark times.

Special guest fiddler Emerald Butler plays many styles including bluegrass, country, and jazz. She also plays guitar. 

The event is a fundraiser for the Pearl and Floyd Franks Scholarship Fund. The Share America Foundation, Inc., a Georgia non-profit, presents scholarships to talented musicians who excel in the Appalachian musical arts.
