Medicare Enrollment Event To Be Offered On Nov. 8 At Mt. Canaan Medicare Counseling Site

  • Wednesday, October 29, 2014

Medicare’s fall open enrollment period ends on Dec. 7. This will be the last time for most people on Medicare to review their health care and drug coverage, make necessary changes, and enroll or switch plans.

Officials said, "It is extremely important for everyone on Medicare to complete a yearly review of their Medicare coverage as plans can change premiums, deductibles, co-pay schedules, and prescriptions covered each year."

The Mt. Canaan Medicare counseling site will hold an enrollment event on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 10 a.m.2 p.m. to help people one-on-one with comparing and deciding on Medicare prescription drug coverage and Medicare health plans.

For more information or to schedule an appointment, contact the Mt. Canaan Baptist Church at 423 624-4080.
