I first met Mary Headrick four years ago when she talked to our Democratic Party in McMinn County. Since then I've met her at dinners, Moral Monday protests expanding Medicaid and raising minimum wage. Over the years I have seen her grow in confidence as a candidate for Congress in the 3rd District.
I've had the opportunity to talk with her one on one and was impressed with her openness and integrity, saying what she truly believes and wanting to represent the values of the 3rd District. She wants to make us proud to have her as our congresswoman.
I can say a lot of critical things about her opponent, the one thing I will say is that Mary Headrick will be someone to be reckoned with when she goes to Washington. She will make an impact as someone who represents our concerns and interests. I can't say that has happened in the past four years with her opponent.
I have already voted for Mary Headrick for Congresswoman in the 3rd District. I urge you to vote for someone that will make an impact for us, Mary Headrick.
