A Bradley County man was arrested on a number of charges, including theft over $10,000.

Members of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office’s Criminal Investigation Division executed a search warrant at a storage unit rented by Gary Eli Gibson, 44, of Cleveland. While searching the unit, officers found items, stolen, from several other storage units.  Later, another search warrant was executed at Gibson’s residence, where officers recovered more items, including a stolen Ford F250 truck, stolen from Dalton, as well as a Honda motorcycle.

Further search of the residence yielded suspected methamphetamine in several baggies, multiple plastic bags used for packaging narcotics, digital scales and a small amount of suspected marijuana. Officers also seized $1,675.

After the two search warrants were executed, a large number of stolen items were recovered, including all pieces of Mid-Century Furniture valued at over $10,000.

Gary Eli Gibson was booked into the Bradley County Jail on several charges, including burglary, theft over $10,000, possession of stolen property, alteration of a vehicle identification number, possession of schedule II narcotics for resale and simple possession of schedule IV narcotics.

Sheriff Eric Watson commended the Criminal Identification Division for the arrest as well as for the recovery of the stolen property.
