Rebecca Riner
Rebecca Ann Riner, 56, of Rossville, died on Thursday, October 23, 2014.
She was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area and was a member of the Anchor of Hope Baptist Church. She was employed with J & J Industries for more than 17 years and loved working with arts and crafts. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, knitting, training horses, but most of all her passion in life was taking care of others. She was a loving and devoted daughter, mother, sister and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dalton DeBord, Brother, Benny DeBord and the father of her son, Curtis Riner.
Survivors include her mother, Julia Anne Gambrell of Rossville; son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Elyse) Riner of Knoxville; brothers, David DeBord of Ringgold, and George DeBord of LaFayette; sister-in-law, Kathy Sisemore of LaFayette; three grandchildren, Samuel Weimer, Anwen Weimer and Michael J.J. Riner; several nieces and nephews and numerous extended family and friends at J & J Industries.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Reverend Dan Mouw officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 28, and prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
