Harold E. Dale, 70, of Soddy Daisy, died on Friday, October 24, 2014, while at home surrounded by his family and friends.

A native of Des Arc, Ar., he lived in Soddy Daisy for over 40 years. He worked as a maintenance man in the school system in Phoenix, Az. He loved piddling with wood and woodworking.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Velma Dale. 

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Wanda Dale; sons, Wayne Stephens (Jo Ann) and K.C. Stephens (Veronica); daughter, Ginger Gossett (Jimmy); brothers, Phillip Wayne Dale (Jan), Robert Dale (Theresa) and Billy Dale (Barbara); grandchildren, Erica Alliano, Wade Stephens, Carrie Shannon, Jason Stephens, Alexis Stephens, Stanton Stephens, and Josh Wallace; two great-grandchildren, Jack Alliano and Alyssa Alliano, several nieces and nephews, and his precious love, Patches. 

Services will be held on Monday, Oct. 27, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Joe Sneed officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton County Memorial Park with Wayne Stephens, K.C. Stephens, Jimmy Gossett, Josh Wallace, Jason Stephens and Chris Alliano serving as pallbearers.

Visitation is on Sunday, Oct. 26, from 2-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
