Kibble, Lora Haney (Cleveland)

Lora Haney Kibble, 95, of Cleveland, TN, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2014. 

She was born on December 18, 1918 to the late John Franklin and Callie Burchfield Haney in Athens, TN.  She was a lifelong resident of the Cleveland area and was a member of the Calhoun Chapel of The Order of the Eastern Star. 

In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Walker Kibble; son-in-law Bob Owen; grandson, Robert Kevin Owen; nine brothers; and two sisters. 

She is survived by two daughters, Betty Owen and Deloris Ann Klug (Ken); one brother, Felix Haney; three grandchildren, Todd Owen, Kenny Klug (Nancy) and Karen Klug; four great-grandchildren, James Todd Owen Jr., David B. Klug, Joanna W. Klug and K. Landyn Klug; and several other nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.  

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 27, at First United Methodist located at 3425 N Ocoee Street, Cleveland, TN 37311 with Arris Cavender officiating. Interment will follow the service at Sunset Memorial Gardens. 

The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday, October 26, from 2-4 p.m.  

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or Alzheimer's foundation. 

Companion Funeral and Cremation Service has charge of the arrangements.
