Frances Carpenter
Mary Frances Henry Carpenter, 91, of Chattanooga, died on Wednesday, October 22, 2014.
Mrs. Carpenter was born in Berry, Al. She was a retired real estate broker and the owner of Carpenter Realtors for 50 years. She was a member of Kings Point Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Elmer Carpenter, Jr.; her parents, Taylor E. Henry and Gertrude L. Henry; sister, Emma Grace Morgan; and brothers, William E. Henry and Max Henry.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary Ann Sanders and husband, Jimmy D. Sanders; one granddaughter, Dr. Mary Anna Sanders; sister-in-law and lifelong friend Ann C. Broyles; several nieces and nephews; many loving and compassionate caregivers from NHC Healthcare of Chattanooga.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, at the funeral home.
Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. on Saturday, with Reverend Ernie Reno officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Activities Department of NHC Healthcare of Chattanooga, 2700 Parkwood Avenue, Chattanooga, Tn. 37404.
