County To Spend $30,210 On Asbestos Removal Project At MLK Building

The county government will spend $30,210 on asbestos removal at the MLK Building on Oak Street.

Officials said during remodeling at the building between Georgia Avenue and Lindsay Street that some tile was disturbed.

The remodeling came after several offices were shifted during a reshuffling of some county departments and administrators.

The contract went to Battlefield Abatement.
