Soil Nailing Set To Help Stabilize Cash Canyon Road, Montlake Road

  • Wednesday, October 22, 2014

A firm that has helped shore up two county roads through a "soil nailing" process will use the same solution for two more.

Geostabilization International has been awarded a $165,990 job on Cash Canyon Road and $175,000 work on Montlake Road - pending expected County Commission approval.

Both of those roads have suffered slope failures.

The same firm earlier improved the W Road and Roberts Mill Road.

County Mayor Jim Coppinger said county officials were pleased with that work.
