Henry "Hank" B. Brackin III, 65, died on Saturday, October 11, 2014, at the Hospice Care Center of Chattanooga after a year-long battle with lung cancer.
He had a long career as an industrial engineer and worked at McKee Foods for the past 12 years. He will be remembered as someone who loved his job and his family and who knew how to live life to its fullest.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Brackin, and two children, Ellen Brackin Sevits and Anna Brackin Kinlaw.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 26, at the Belle Meade Methodist Church in Nashville.
Memorial contributions can be made in lieu of flowers to the Georgia Tech Foundation.
