Benjamin "Bearman" Martin
Benjamin “Bearman” Martin, 61, of Flintstone, died on Thursday, October 16, 2014.
He was a resident of the Chattanooga/North Georgia area for over 25 years. Benjamin hosted the morning show for 20 years with Ken Hicks on US 101. He was a member of the MaChis Lower Creek Indian Tribe. Benjamin was a member of the Cross Connection Church in Chickamauga.
Benjamin is preceded in death by his father, Archie Martin.
He is survived by his loving wife for 10 years, Rosa Shell Martin; mother, Louise Palmer Martin; son, Jason (Shannon) Martin, Augusta, Ga.; daughter, Jacqueline Ray, Enterprise, Al.; stepson, Jeff ( Tara) Wagner, Chickamauga; Azlyn Millsaps, Flintstone; grandchildren, Tristan, Taylor, Austin, Hunter, Cecily, and Chase.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 19, in the Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Joey Kelly officiating.
Interment will be at 1 p.m. CST Monday in Lowery Cemetery in Lowery, Al.

The family will receive friends from 12-8 p.m. on Saturday and 12-2 p.m. on Sunday at the Heritage Funeral Home, Battlefield Parkway.
