Chattanooga Zoo Hosts Boo In The Zoo Starting Friday

Boo in the Zoo at the Chattanooga Zoo will be held Oct. 17, 18, 24 and 25 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. 

The annual Boo in the Zoo celebration includes haunted hay rides, face painting, moon bounces, animal enrichment, pony rides, and a variety of games, at this non scary Halloween event. Activity tickets are .25 cents each of unlimited activity wrist bands can be purchased for $10.  

Animal enrichment, costume contests, and a scavenger hunt throughout the whole Zoo complete with costume characters like Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, and Scooby-Soo is included in regular Boo in the Zoo admission. 

Chattanooga Zoo CEO and President, Darde Long, notes “Boo in the Zoo is such a fun event for all guests, as well as our staff and volunteers. This event continues to grow each year and we could not be happier. We are hoping for another record breaking turnout this year and we are thankful for our community’s support.” 

Admission is $8.95 for adults, $5.95 for children and ages two and under are free. Tickets may be purchased online here or in advance at the Zoo Gift Shop.  Zoo members receives half off admission.
