Brock Insurance Agency (BIA), announced the addition of John Brock, son of Mark Brock, as a business and personal lines agent. In his role, Mr. Brock will assist businesses and individuals find the right coverage for their needs.

Mr. Brock is a third generation insurance agent with his grandfather John W. Brock as the founder of BIA and his father, Mark Brock as current President. He is a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a major in Risk Management.

Brock spent a year with a regional carrier in San Antonio, TX as a commercial underwriter before coming home to work with the family agency.

“My experience as a commercial underwriter helped me to not only develop industry knowledge but also decide that this is the career path for me. I enjoy working with people and helping them solve their problems, what better way to this than with my family in my home town. Chattanooga has grown so much since I have been away and couldn’t be more excited to find my place in this great city” said John Brock.

Mark Brock, President, stated “Of course I am very excited to have my son join the family business but also because I know he has the knowledge, personality and hard work ethic that it takes to succeed in this business.  Our agency is growing into so many new areas and I am looking forward to see where John can take us.”
