Parkridge East Hosts "Mommy-To-Bee" Event Nov. 8

Parkridge East Hospital will celebrate the excitement of birth and new beginnings with an exclusive “Mommy-to-Bee” event for expecting mothers on Saturday, Nov. 8. This morning of educational classes and fun activities is designed to help moms-to-be prepare for the moment when they will meet their new babies for the first time. 

The “Mommy-to-Bee” event begins at 9 a.m. and features door prizes, vendors, an Ask-the-Doctor panel, a hospital tour and a baby shower. Participating vendors will include Babies R Us, Kindermusik, Sweet Beginnings Ultrasound, and more. As part of the event, First Things First will offer the “When Baby Makes Three” class designed to help new parents maintain a healthy relationship while adjusting to the demands of life with a new baby. 

The cost to attend the “Mommy-to-Bee” event is $10 per person and attendance is strictly limited to the expectant mom plus one guest. Registration is required. For more information or to register, call MedLine at 800/242-5662.
